Lindsay Carlson is the Information Governance Compliance Manager at Latham & Watkins, in Los Angeles. In this capacity, she oversees the handling of a variety of information governance issues and ensures the firm’s management of information meets applicable legal, ethical, security, and privacy requirements in all jurisdictions in which the firm operates around the world. She is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining firm-wide and departmental policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines related to records and information management, information security, data privacy, and other issues. Prior to this role, she spent 14 years as a litigator and trial attorney in client-facing private practice, working extensively with companies in the automotive, product manufacturing, retail and cosmetics, financial services, and telecommunications industries, among others.
