Are there scholarships available?
NAWL will offer scholarship assistance for this conference to a limited number of attorneys who wish to attend but may not be able to do so due to cost considerations. Those attorneys who are actively employed in non-profit, government, educational institutions or small companies, or those that have been actively employed in such institutions in the past 12 months but are now in transition, are eligible for assistance. The financial assistance covers all or part of the registration fee for the events on July 16, 2015, but does not include travel or meals outside those served as part of the day’s events.
The application process requires the applicant to demonstrate their eligibility and to provide a short essay setting forth the reasons why she/he believes she/he is an appropriate candidate for receiving scholarship funds, including how the conference will benefit her/him, and information regarding financial need.
