The Thought-Leader Summit & Women’s Initiatives Bootcamp is designed to take a more strategic approach to cultivating change within corporations and law firms to increase the representation of women in leadership roles in the legal profession.

The invitation-only Day One Thought-Leader Summit will bring together elite leaders in the profession to brainstorm practical ways to create impactful changes for women in the legal profession. Speakers and attendees will include lawyers at the height of their career – chief legal officers and general counsel, law firm managing partners, judges, government officials, law school deans, bar presidents, and other preeminent lawyers.

The Day Two Women’s Initiatives Bootcamp is designed for current and future leaders of women’s initiatives and will focus on insights and guidance to help improve women’s initiatives and assist leaders in selecting high-impact activities to maximize their women’s initiatives' influence and to yield better business outcomes. In addition to programming focused on what institutions and individuals can do to increase the number of women in leadership roles, NAWL will unveil its 2018 Survey on the Promotion and Retention of Women in Law Firms, which provides objective statistics regarding the position and advancement of women lawyers in law firms. The NAWL Survey remains the only national survey that collects this industry benchmarking data in such detail.
