NAWL Congratulates Women Leaders Past & Present

For the first time in history, 100 women will serve in Congress together with the swearing in of Representative Alma Adams of North Carolina. The 114th Congress, which will be seated in January, will also reach a new peak for women on Capitol Hill. There will be at least 101 women in Congress and as many as 105 pending the outcome of undecided races, according to the Center for American Women and Politics (CAWP) at Rutgers University.
