Who should attend this event?

Corporate counsel of public, private, large and small companies, non-profits, government, and educational institutions. Registration is limited to in-house counsel. Scholarships are available - see below for more details.

How do I become a NAWL member?

If you are not already a member, simply sign up for the 16th General Counsel Institute full program at the non-member rate which includes a 2020-2021 NAWL membership. If you are attending using a complimentary program sponsor pass, you may add membership on to the cost of your registration.

Is this event accredited? Can I earn CLE?

CLE credit is currently confirmed in Georgia, Illinois, Missouri, Ohio, Texas, and Washington with reciprocal credit approved in California, Connecticut, New York, and New Jersey. NAWL may also apply in other states based on where attendees are licensed. Speaker attendance is not guaranteed and is subject to change without notice.

Are there scholarships available?

NAWL will offer scholarship assistance for this conference to a limited number of in-house attorneys who wish to attend but may not be able to do so due to cost considerations. The financial assistance covers the registration fee for the events on November 11-13, 2020.

The application process requires the applicant to demonstrate their eligibility and to provide a short essay setting forth the reasons why she/he believes she/he is an appropriate candidate for receiving scholarship funds, including how the conference will benefit her/him, and information regarding financial need.
