In addition, you will have the opportunity to participate in interesting substantive programming along with plenty of networking opportunities all focused on our theme of "Metamorphosis: Reemerge Transformed". Congratulations to Our 2022 Awardees!

The National Association of Women Lawyers ("NAWL") is pleased to announce the confirmed 2022 award recipients to be honored at the Annual Meeting & Awards Luncheon to be held on July 21, 2022 at the Hilton Chicago. These awardees are leaders of their industry who have dedicated themselves to strengthening the legal profession by working toward parity for women and minority lawyers.

The 2022 awards to be presented are:

Arabella Babb Mansfield Award in recognition of professional achievement, positive influence, and valuable contribution to women in the law and in society - to Rhonda Powell, Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary at Buzzfeed. View past awardees.

President’s Award for the advancement and retention of women attorneys by an organization - to Cummins, Inc., for the company's work to find opportunities that build the capability and capacity to advance diversity, equity, and inclusion in the communities in which its employees live, work, and serve. View past awardees.

Lead by Example Award for a leading male attorney in a law firm, company, government unit, or public interest entity who supports the advancement of women within his organization - to Judge Rubén Castillo, former Chief Judge to the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and current litigation partner at Akerman LLPView past awardees.

M. Ashley Dickerson Diversity Award in recognition of lawyers who promote diversity - to D'Arcy Kemnitz, Executive Director at the LGBTQ+ Bar Association. View past awardees.
