Women Leading the Way: Finding Courage, Commitment and Connection in Times of Change

In these unprecedented times of crisis and opportunity, women lawyers are being asked to do more than ever before. A changing global landscape, a renewed focus on social justice and even new ways of working are transforming our profession, our workplaces and our communities. As leaders we can do more than simply adjust to the new normal. At NAWL’s General Counsel Institute we will focus on providing the tools we need not only to survive, but thrive – by reinforcing our courage to face new challenges, our commitment to the profession and our connections with each other.

Now in its seventeenth year, GCI is a multi-day program of networking, education and inspiration designed for senior in-house women counsel. Sessions with the general counsel of major corporations and other inspirational speakers foster frank, collegial discussions about career advancement, while workshops on key topics with leading experts provide opportunities to refine skills and expertise. GCI provides a unique environment to connect with other women counsel, share the highs and lows of in-house life and build legal and leadership skills.

The 17th General Counsel Institute will be virtual. We have finetuned our virtual conference offerings throughout the past seventeen months and are confident we can continue to provide exceptional educational content with high-profile speakers and even more impactful community-building opportunities in a virtual setting. Once you complete registration, sit back, relax, and we’ll bring the content and connection opportunities to you.
