NAWL Resolution Supporting Voting RightsOn August 27th, 2021 the NAWL Board passed a resolution stating that NAWL remains steadfast in its commitment to protecting voting rights and access to the polls, and supports legislative efforts that would expand, restore, and strengthen equal access and protection of the right to vote for eligible voters, and opposes legislation that creates barriers preventing eligible voters from exercising their right to vote, which disproportionately impact women and people of color. NAWL Supports the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement ActOctober 6, 2021: NAWL urges the Senate to pass the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act to #RestoreTheVRA and ensure that all eligible voters can safely and freely cast their ballots.
