Tiffany Grant Cox was born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, the child of Jamaican immigrants. Tiffany is a Staff Attorney and Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at North Carolina Prisoner Legal Services (NCPLS). She evaluates various cases for post-conviction claims, filing in both state and appellate courts, accepts appointments to represent clients in state Superior Court, and coordinates a committee of staff members to conduct sessions on matters related to DEI for all NCPLS staff. 

Tiffany lives in Raleigh, NC with her husband, a Marine Corps veteran, and her 7-year-old twin sons. In her free time, she enjoys kickboxing, traveling, and watching her sons play a variety of sports.
