Alejandra Lara is Assistant General Counsel, Employee Relations, at Stanley Black & Decker. She works closely with the global team to help achieve business goals. In her role, Ale partners with Human Resources on a wide range of global matters, including employee relations, wage and hour issues, restrictive covenants, and mergers and acquisitions. She also regularly collaborates with SBD leaders to develop creative, pragmatic solutions to complex HR-related legal issues.

Before joining Stanley Black & Decker, Alejandra served as Chief Counsel, Labor and Employment at Archer Daniels Midland (ADM). Prior to ADM, she was Senior Counsel at Dyson, Inc., where she led employment law for North America. She began her career as a labor and employment attorney at Drinker Biddle & Reath, now Faegre Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP.



Alejandra earned both her undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Illinois.
