Andrea is an Assistant General Counsel in Microsoft’s Cloud + AI legal division. She leads the legal team that supports product development and engineering for Microsoft’s AI-powered SaaS business applications and low-code platforms, which are used across enterprises by sales, 

marketing, customer support, IT and professional developers. Her team’s product portfolio includes offerings such as Power Platform, Copilot Studio, Dynamics 365 CRM and Contact Center, and Nuance Enterprise. Andrea advises engineering teams on a variety of legal issues that arise when developing generative AI and autonomous agents, including responsible AI, data privacy, cybersecurity, digital safety, contract negotiations, intellectual property licensing, 

antitrust and competition law, and more. 

Prior to joining Microsoft, Andrea was an attorney in the corporate practice group at Morrison & Foerster LLP in Palo Alto, California where she advised tech start-ups on venture capital financings and mergers and acquisitions. She was previously an attorney at Immersion Corporation, a Silicon Valley company specializing in haptic technology.

Andrea received her B.A. from Fordham University in International Political Economy and Spanish, and her J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law.
