Jennifer leads the corporate group at Avantus, which includes legal, human resources, communications and IT. With decades of legal and regulatory experience in the energy and technology industries, she has extensive expertise across commercial contracts, intellectual property protection, corporate governance and government affairs for both private and public organizations.
 
In her 10 years with FuelCell Energy, Jennifer simultaneously held the roles of Executive Vice President, General Counsel, Chief Administrative Officer and Corporate Secretary. She also served as General Counsel for Total Energy Corporation and as a partner at Shipman & Goodwin LLP, where she chaired the firm’s Utility Law Practice Group. She began her law career as an associate in the Energy & Utilities Practice Group at Murtha Cullina LLP.

Jennifer earned a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Boston University, and a Juris Doctor from Boston University School of Law. She is a licensed attorney in Connecticut, Massachusetts, and New York.
