Jennifer Smiley is an employment law attorney at Ogletree Deakins who brings nearly a decade of private practice experience and a passion for helping employers navigate the ever-evolving workplace landscape. She represents companies in federal and state courts, arbitrations, and administrative proceedings, tackling complex claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and breach of employment agreements. She has already been to trial twice this year and achieved a defense arbitration award and a defense jury verdict.

A proud Baylor University graduate, Jennifer earned her Juris Doctor from SMU's Dedman School of Law and launched her career with a clerkship in the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas. When she's not advocating for clients, Jennifer stays deeply involved in the Dallas legal community through the Dallas Bar Association and the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers.
