Kari B. Sheinfeld is Managing Director and Head of Global Lending Legal for Commercial & Investment Banking at JPMorgan Chase. Her team supports the Global Banking line of business in providing lending solutions to clients, including corporations, financial institutions, private equity, municipalities, real estate investors and owners, and not for profit organizations. Over the past 14 years, Kari has held many roles in the JPMC Legal Department, including as the General Counsel for Commercial Banking, which provided products and services to wholesale companies ranging from middle market companies with greater than $20MM in revenue to large corporates with greater than $500MM in revenue. Additionally, Kari was the General Counsel for Card, Strategic Transactions & Payments where her team supported the Card Services business on all aspects of consumer and small business credit cards, the Corporate Development team in connection with strategic partnerships with third parties, including co-brand card partners, and Consumer & Community Banking with respect to payments initiatives across the firm. Prior to that, Kari was the General Counsel for Business Banking and the Deputy Head of Middle Market Banking & Specialized Industries Legal in Commercial Banking. Prior to joining JPMorgan Chase, Kari worked in the Legal Departments at Corus Bank and Transamerica Finance Corporation. Kari started her career at Sidley Austin LLP in Chicago. At JPMorgan Chase, Kari is the Executive Sponsor of the Asian Pacific Islander Legal Forum (APILF) and a member of the JPMorgan Chase Chicago Executive Committee.


Kari is also a member of the Advisory Board of After School Matters, a non-profit organization that provides Chicago high school teens with after-school and summer opportunities, and a member of the National Association of Women Lawyers. Kari currently resides in the Chicago suburbs with her husband, their three young adults (ages 25, 21 and 17) (from time to time), and a Tibetan terrier named Pesto.
