Kristen Pugsley-Onsager is an Associate General Counsel at Microsoft and the lead counsel for two of Microsoft's commercial organizations focused on helping customers and partners succeed in their own AI transformation: the Small and Medium Enterprise & Channel Partner (SME&C) sales organization, which enables reach of Microsoft's products and solutions to customers around the world through an extensive partner ecosystem, and the Microsoft Frontier Company, comprised of industry and engineering experts that work with customers to co-design, co-innovate, and deploy outcome based AI solutions within the customer's own environment. She manages a geographically distributed team across six time zones, advises on legal and business strategy, and helps create agile and compliant legal solutions. Passionate about building inclusive teams and communities, Kristen has been an active volunteer and leader with the National Association of Women Lawyers (NAWL) as well as within Microsoft’s legal Culture and Inclusion community and currently serves as the Executive Sponsor for Microsoft's relationship with NAWL. Kristen earned her undergraduate degree from Georgetown University and both a Doctor of Law and Masters in Business Administration from the University of Washington.
