Lori E. Chapin is an attorney with more than two decades of experience across large and boutique law firms, government, and corporate in-house roles. She is skilled in litigation, settlement negotiation, mediation, conflict resolution, risk assessment, product liability and employment law, contract negotiation and corporate governance.   


Known for her creativity, civility, and strong work ethic, she has successfully managed complex portfolios while driving favorable outcomes for her clients. Prior to moving in-house in 2022, Lori’s practice focused primarily on the defense of equipment manufacturers in complex, multi-party disputes with an emphasis in products liability actions and catastrophic injury claims, commercial actions and pharmaceutical/medical device litigation.


Lori currently serves as in-house counsel at Genmab US, Inc., a biotechnology company specializing in the creation and development of differentiated antibody therapeutics for the treatment of cancer and other serious diseases. At Genmab, she provides legal counsel to functions that enable the business such as Human Resources, Finance, Facilities/Operations and Communications. She serves as a Mentor in the Genmab Mentoring Program and through her multi-faceted role, is a member of several cross-functional teams and initiatives with a global reach.
