“Being named a 2025 NAWL Outstanding Law Student is both exciting and deeply meaningful to me as a first-generation law student, motivated by the tireless and sacrificial efforts of the women in my family. Their support inspired me to pursue public interest work and advocacy in law school, such as volunteering with VITA and clerking for a legal aid clinic that assists low-income families and women. I’m grateful to have been mentored by remarkable attorneys through NAWL and Stetson Law School who share my core values of generosity, kindness, and enthusiasm — values I will carry forward as I join the Office of the State Attorney for the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit in Florida and pursue an LL.M. in Taxation at the University of Florida.”
