“I am deeply honored to receive the Outstanding Law Student Award from the National Association of Women Lawyers. This recognition from an organization devoted to the advancement of women in the legal profession is especially meaningful as I prepare to begin my career in immigration law, a field where the fight for justice and equity is deeply personal and urgent. Throughout my time at Penn State, I’ve been inspired by the strength and resilience of immigrant women navigating complex legal systems while striving to build safer, more stable lives for themselves and their families. As I step into my role as an Associate Attorney at the Charlotte Immigration Law Firm, I am committed to continuing NAWL’s legacy of empowerment by advocating for those whose voices are too often unheard, and by working to ensure that immigrant women in particular have access to the legal support they deserve.”
