“I’m so honored to receive the NAWL Outstanding Law Student Award! When I started law school, I often felt behind—as a first-generation college student from a lower-income background and a woman of color. This award is a reminder of how far I’ve come and of my commitment to advocating for others with similar experiences. After graduation, I’ll be working as the Special Assistant to the Presiding Judge at the CNMI Superior Court, where I hope to continue advancing inclusive, community-centered justice.”
