“I am deeply grateful to the Virginia Law community for nominating me for the National Association of Women Lawyers Outstanding Law Student Award. When I decided to attend law school, I committed to putting my whole self into my legal studies and into contributing to the law school community while remaining present for my children. My colleagues’ belief in me has energized my efforts to encourage others and to show my daughters, and the women in my life, that they are worthy and capable. After graduation, I will begin my legal career as a Corporate Associate at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati in Wilmington, Delaware.”
