“Being awarded the Outstanding Law Student Award from the National Association of Women Lawyers on behalf of Loyola Law School is an incredible gift. I am honored to earn this award as a non-traditional law student, beginning law school at 35 years old, as a first generation college student, while working full time and raising two teenage daughters. This award is a recognition of the hard work and sacrifice of both myself and my family over the last four years, but even more so I hope it serves as hope to others who wish to chase their dream. Thank you.”
