“Receiving this award is incredibly meaningful to me because NAWL is an organization that actively creates space for women in the legal profession and recognizes the value of our contributions. As a Latina woman pursuing a career in business law, this recognition feels especially meaningful as I enter a field that remains overwhelmingly male-dominated, and it serves as a reminder that our voices, work, and perspectives belong here, too. After graduation, I hope to build a career in business law, earn a seat at the table, and help make these spaces more inclusive and welcoming for all women.”
