Emily Chambers
is honored to be a 2026 recipient of the Outstanding Student Award from NAWL and is grateful to Professor Margaret Drew for her nomination and to her husband and son's constant support during law school. Her most rewarding experience of law school was being chapter president of the national If/When/How organization, where she helped organize reproductive justice book clubs, constitutional law panels, fundraising, awareness, and research for the reproductive justice hotline and Planned Parenthood.
Emily just graduated from the University of Massachusetts School of Law last month and is in hot pursuit of taking the UBE in Massachusetts this July. She hopes to practice municipal law or real estate law and assist in affordable housing projects.
