Receiving the National Association of Women Lawyers Outstanding Law Student Award at graduation, surrounded by my family and friends who have instilled in me the values of perseverance and strength, was such a special moment. Serving as President of Women in Law at Campbell Law School and empowering the women of CUSOL has been one of the most fulfilling parts of my law school experience. I look forward to continuing to create spaces that support and uplift women in the legal profession while empowering the next generation of women attorneys. I would not be where I am today without the incredible women who have supported and inspired me along the way, even when I doubted myself: my mom, family, friends, professors, supervisors, and mentors. After taking the bar exam, I am excited to begin the next chapter of my career as an Associate Attorney with New Direction Family Law in Raleigh, North Carolina.”
