“Winning this award means so much to me because I want to live my life in a way that honors the women who came before me and allowed me to be in the position I am in. I strive to advocate for women, especially women of color, and I plan to do so for the rest of my career. After taking the bar exam in July, I will be working for a Federal Magistrate Judge in the Southern District of Georgia.”
– Rosalie Vendrell, on receiving the 2026 NAWL Outstanding Law Student Award for the University of Georgia School of Law.
