“Receiving the Outstanding Law Student Award from the National Association of Women Lawyers (NAWL) is incredibly meaningful to me because it represents not only academic and professional achievement, but also the resilience, advocacy, and sense of purpose that carried me through law school. I worked extremely hard. It was not easy, and I did it while balancing motherhood. After graduation and the California Bar Exam, I plan to take a week or two to myself and then get right back to building a career centered on litigation and youth advocacy. One day, I may start a practice of my own dedicated to serving children and families, through both direct representation and systematic reform.”
