“I am deeply honored to receive the 2026 Outstanding Law Student Award from the National Association of Women Lawyers. As a first-generation student and daughter of immigrants, I have been guided by a commitment to advocating for those often underrepresented in the legal profession, and serving in leadership in law school has given me a meaningful opportunity to pursue that commitment. This award reflects more than just my own efforts; it honors the legacy of the many women who came before me. I am sincerely grateful to my friends and family, as well as the Winston College of Law faculty and staff, for their support, which has been essential to my growth throughout this journey. Following graduation, I will serve as a civil litigation associate at Swift Currie, where I hope to continue advancing women’s empowerment and strengthening allyship.”
