Compliance

The purpose of the NAWL Compliance Affinity Group is to connect and serve as a resource for members who currently practice, or are interested in practicing, in this area, either in-house or in private practice. Human Resources used to be the place where women leaders were found in a company, but now women are also in the Chief Compliance Officer role, which can be a great training ground for a step into a General Counsel role. In this Group, we share experiences and strategies for being successful in a compliance role and discuss issues and challenges that members may face. We host events and programs to connect our members, garner new membership, and stay abreast of current compliance trends.
